Dalmatians
The Dalmatian dog is a non-sporting dog breed that loves lots of love and attention from their family. The most important thing to consider when buying a puppy is all the different dog types. Regardless of what you want your puppy to look like, the most important thing is find the right dog breed for you.
Finding the right dog for you and your family is not hard. Consider your lifestyle and how a dog will fit into your life. Look at all the different kinds of breeds and consider their traits and inherent instincts. A herding dog is not usually well suited to suburban backyard unless you give it lots exercise and attention. On the other hand there is no point getting a Chihuahua if you have an active lifestyle.
You think it is time to get a new puppy or dog for yourself and your family. You have a good home to offer a dog and enough time (and money) to spend with your dog for the term of its natural life.
It does not matter who you are or what circumstances you live in, as long as you give your dog exercise, discipline and love there is a dog breed to suit you. Do some research into the breeds you like before buying a puppy and ask yourself a few questions like:
Can you afford a dog? Can you afford the ongoing costs of vet bills, food and regular worming?

Now you have mastered basic dog obedience training – the sit, drop and stay from our articles over the last couple of weeks. It can be fun and useful to train your dog to lie on its side and then to rollover.
Remember to make your dog training fun and only do short amounts at a time to keep your dog interested and happy.
On Your Side
As is the case with most dog obedience and fun tricks, you train your dog progressively. Having a dog that lies on its side on command is useful for cutting its nails or checking your dog over for any problems. It is vital for all dogs and puppies to learn sit and drop as soon as they join your household. This teaches them manners and to look up to you as their leader.
Anyone can teach their puppy or dog good manners. Just use consistency and reward good behaviour. Do not punish bad behaviour – ignore it unless it is dangerous. A dog’s poor behaviour is like a child throwing a tantrum. If you ignore the tantrum long enough they will just give up. Are you enough of a pack leader for your dog? It is really important for your dog to know where it fits in to your family. And you, as the pack leader, are responsible for you dog’s wellbeing and for teaching it your rules.
A well-balanced dog is one that understands your rules as all they want is to keep you happy.
Discipline, exercise and love are the three most important things – in that order, your dog needs from you to keep it from displaying destructive and frustrating behavior.
